I <3 the Guild Wars music, especially their older songs (all the Prophecies stuff and the Battle Pak).

I turn off the Gw ingame music and play my own stuff. LotR, GoW, ME, JE, NWN2, MotB, SW, CoV, MC Chris, SC, HPC, H2, H3, CoD4, DoW, FF, FtLC, DM, Wiz8, TESIII, etc, as well as a few of the good Gw songs (I got all the Gw songs as well as extras off of ffshrine) and assorted others.

Congratulations to anyone who knows what all of these stand for without searching it on the internet. I have no prize for you, though, so don't bother posting about it.

I adore the soundtrack to Factions. Has some pretty amazing songs on it. But I never listen to GW music while playing the game. Even if I am in Cantha.

I always have music and sound effects on. There are a lot of sound "keys" in this game that provide valuable information that you can miss otherwise.

I love the GW music. My favorite is the song in the Crystal Desert...it kinda relaxes me lol. But yeah i cant really play with just the effects songs and i dont feel like putting an iPod on.

The music is always on for me. I love it and can't get sued to playing with anything else. I guess after almost three years, only the real music will do.

I love the GW music from all campaigns. It lends to the atmosphere of the role playing experience, and i agree, there a lot of little clues in the music. And besides, its awesome music !!! I love it .

i have it on, all the time.
in fact, i refuse to just get on vent to "hang out", i'd rather type and listen to the music, because honestly it's amazing.
problem is, the BEST music in the game is in pre-searing, which doesn't last very long.

I haven't heard it in a long long time. I usually have the radio or my own music on.

I do. In-game I have the music on most of the time and from time to time I also listen to the soundtrack out of the game.

Ok, I'll be the oddball of the block. I love music, but to me it destroys the reality factor, so I turn it off in ALL my games. Nor do I listen to anything else while playing.

I love it. To me, playing GW without the GW music is like playing it with half the graphics missing. It's part of the atmosphere & identity of the world. If it were poorly made or super repetitive I might listen to something else, but it's fantastically done & there is good variety since I don't need to spend 3hrs in the same place farming..

Nope. Though it is good, I get sick of the GW music very, very quickly. So I have it always turned off. I listen to my playlists, or Mp3 player, or put a movie in while I play (unless I'm monking...no movie then..for some odd reason my friends seem to get upset when my reason for letting them die was "Oh crap, sorry! Watching a movie!" So yeeeeah, I don't do that anymore. >_> ).
